Background
Post-COVID, Jaipuria School of Business aimed to enhance the employability of its PGDM students by introducing a structured and customized Pre-Placement Training Program. The objective was to equip students with essential skills and competencies, ensuring a 100% placement rate for the batch.
Pre-Placement Training Program Design
The Pre-Placement Training Program was a meticulously designed initiative spanning four months. It was tailored to meet the individual needs of students based on a thorough Pre-Training Assessment.
Pre-Training Assessment
A comprehensive assessment process was conducted to understand the strengths and areas of improvement for each student. The evaluation was carried out through a panel interview consisting of industry experts and subject matter experts. Based on this assessment, a detailed dashboard was created to track student progress on various employability aspects.
Training Modules
A customized 64-hour training program was developed, covering critical aspects such as:

- Group Discussion Techniques
- Interview Skills
- Resume Designing
- Creating a Professional LinkedIn Profile
Mid-Training and Post-Training Assessment
To measure the effectiveness of the training program, both mid-training and post-training assessments were conducted. The post-training assessment involved another panel interview for each student, allowing the institution to track individual progress and the overall impact of the training.
Outcome and Impact
The structured and customized approach led to a 100% placement rate for the batch. Additionally, detailed performance reports were provided to the Corporate Relations Committee, enabling them to review industry readiness and facilitate better job placements.
